Our nursing career opportunities are available in rural and urban locations throughout the states of Arizona, California and Utah. Most facilities are located on Indian reservations. Arizona locations include the Colorado River Service Unit, which encompasses the Parker Indian Hospital (Parker, AZ), the Peach Spring Clinic (Peach Springs, AZ), and the Hopi Health Care Center, ( Polacca, AZ). Additional locations include the Fort Yuma Health Care Center (Winterhaven, CA), and the Uintah and Ouray Service Unit (Fort Duchesne, UT). Multiple position types may be filled from this announcement during the term of the open period. Duties Formulate and implement overall community health nursing programs and plans to satisfy varying patient load requirements, priorities for services, and other healthcare objectives. Track community health status, and evaluate health trends and risk factors of population groups. Investigate health problems and hazards such as communicable diseases and develop a recommended plan of action to address these issues. Provide health education to individuals, families and community groups in various settings.
